Pilgrim’s 3-pointer from the right corner after an Antigo turnover made it 51-49 with 1:59 left. Antigo’s Keelyn Zwirschitz made one free throw with 1:44 left, but Czerneski rebounded the miss, got fouled and made both free throws in a key moment to push the Robins’ lead back to five at 54-49. The Raiders weren’t able to score again.

Antigo had 20 offensive rebounds which led to 18 second-chance points and 30 points in the paint. Antigo was 19 of 36 at the free throw line, while Medford was just seven of 16. The Raiders hit eight of 30 3-point attempts, compared to Antigo’s two of 10. Overall, Antigo outrebounded Medford 46-33.

Medford is scheduled to host Hayward tonight, Thursday, in the make-up date of an opening night postponement back on Nov. 17. The Raiders will try to break into the GNC win column Friday when they host Tomahawk. Both of those games tip at 7:15 p.m.

The Raiders will host New London in non-conference play on Dec. 22.
