Motorcycle vs. deer

CRASH REPORTS

Gary Alan Hoff, 58, of Lublin, was traveling westbound on CTH G, on July 7, in the town of Ford. Dispatch was notified of the accident at 5:39 a.m. Hoff’s motorcycle struck a deer and he was thrown from the motorcycle and was located in the south ditch by a passerby. Hoff was wearing a helmet and other protective equipment. Hoff sustained serious injuries and was transported from the scene by ambulance.

Jose Carmelo Hernandez Moreno, 61, of Abbotsford, backed into a vehicle owned by Donald James Piller, 79, of Rib Lake, on July 12, at 10:45 a.m. Moreno was exiting a parking spot and caused minor damage to Moreno’s vehicle and moderate damage to Piller’s vehicle.

Joseph Patrick Sullivan, 18, of Stetsonville was traveling westbound on CTH A, on July 5, at 4:37 p.m., in the Village of Stetsonville. Sullivan had stopped at the stop sign of Hwy 13 and CTH A, he then continued through the intersection striking the rear driver side of Matthew James Chelinsky, 54, of Marshfield, whose vehicle was going through the intersection traveling southbound on Hwy 13. Sullivan advised he had looked but did not see Chelinsky’s vehicle as he traveled through the intersection.

Anahi Salinas Marcelino, 21, of Dorchester, was traveling southbound on Wren Dr., on July 9, at 12:49 p.m., in the town of Holway. Marcelino lost control and entered the west ditch and came to rest when her vehicle struck a driveway. Marcelino’s vehicle was towed due to disabling damage. Marcelino received citations for operating without a valid license (1st violation) and operating a motor vehicle without insurance.

Theodore Stanley Wojcik, 69, of Gilman, was turning east out of the Gilman Fire Department while on duty in a fire truck, when he struck the driver’s side corner of a legally parked vehicle owned by Dennis A. Theiler, of Fairchild, while trying to turn onto E. McSloy St.

The following car vs. deer accidents were reported: Jace William Curran, 16, of Medford, on July 12, at 8:57 p.m., on CTH M, in the town of Grover; Michael Richard Werner, 71, of Medford, on July 12, at 1:12 p.m., on Hwy 64, in the town of Medford.
