Car vs. fire hydrant

CRASH REPORTS

Alonso Garcia Sosa, 25, of Curtiss was traveling northbound on McComb Ave., on May 7, at 1:30 a.m., in the Village of Rib Lake, towards Fayette Ave. Sosa did “donuts” at the intersection, then struck the fire hydrant. Sosa was issued citations for operating while suspended and failure of operator to notify police of accident.

Amanda Lynn Moore, 30, of Medford, was backing northbound out of a parking stall in the Culver’s parking lot, in the city of Medford, on May 9, at 12:30 p.m. A vehicle owned by Jamie Raymond Henrichs, of Medford was stationary and parked two stalls north of Moore’s vehicle. Moore attempted to back out of her stall, but turned too tightly and backed into Henrich’s vehicle, hitting their rear passenger side corner into Henrich’s rear driver’s side corner. This caused damage to the passen- ger rear lighting units and scratches along the contacted area of Moore’s vehicle, along with a broken rear driver’s side lighting unit and scratches to Henrich’s vehicle.

Anthony John Zarins, 33, of Dorchester stated that traffi c was backed up from the intersection on East Broadway Ave, on May 13, at 3:49 p.m., in the city of Medford. Zarins said that vehicles were abruptly coming to a stop. Jaycie Marie Ruch, 30, of Medford stated the same. Ruch went on to explain that a vehicle driven by Cheyenne Lee Reinke, 30, of Medford, rear ended her causing her vehicle to hit Zarins’ vehicle which was stopped in front of her. Reinke stated that she was eastbound on E. Broadway Ave. when the vehicles in front of her abruptly came to a stop. She stated that she was not able to come to a stop in time and struck Ruch’s vehicle which was directly in front of her. Reinke sustained possible injuries. Reinke received a citation for inattentive driving.

Vivian Lilith Ertz, 22, of Eau Claire, was backing out of the driveway of 220 E. Allman St. on May 14, at 4:30 p.m., in the city of Medford. Ertz stated that she was focused on oncoming traffic and did not see the vehicle, owned by Michael David Bartelt, of Medford, parked across the street. Ertz stated that all vehicle safety equipment was working properly. Ertz was issued a citation for unsafe backing of vehicle.

Chad Lamar Delaney, 46, of Marshfield, was traveling northbound on Hwy 13, on May 11, at 8:19 a.m., in the village of Stetsonville, and had the right of way. Tammy Lynn Ortman, 49, of Athens, was traveling westbound on CTH A and failed to stop for the stop sign and was struck by Delaney’s vehicle. Delaney’s vehicle was towed due to disabling damage and Ortman received a citation for failure to stop at a stop sign.

Christian J. Klarr, 39, of Lublin, was traveling westbound on Elm Ave., on May 7, at 1:22 p.m., in the town of Holway. Klarr’s vehicle hit some loose gravel causing it to go into the north side ditch of Elm Ave. Klarr’s vehicle came to rest on its side in the ditch and was towed due to disabling damage.
