Lavicka unanimous first teamer
Hartwig on all-defensive North squad

Athens sophomore guard Addison Lavicka was an unanimous first team all-Marawood North Conference player this season.
She led Athens with an average of 14.2 points and 3.6 assists per game. Lavicka paced the Bluejays with 383 points and 98 assists.
Lavicka made 119 of her 333 field goal attempts for 36 percent shooting from the floor toward her 383 points. She was second on the Bluejays in both blocks and steals; Lavicka had 19 blocks and 85 steals.
Phillips senior Jada Eggebrecht and sophomore Kacy Eggebrecht and Abbotsford sophomore Sydney Falteisek were also unanimous first team all-Marawood North Conference this season. Jada Eggebrecht was named the Marawood North Conference player of the year and her father, Mike Eggebrecht, was the conference coach of the year in the 2021-22 season.
Jada Eggebrecht, who’ll play college basketball at Division 2 St. Cloud State next year, was also Division 4 first team all-state this season.
Athens sophomore forward Jazelle Hartwig garnered first team all-Marawood North Conference. Hartwig led Athens with an average of 3.8 steals for 100 steals total while playing the top position in the team’s 1-3-1 zone defense. She was second on the team in scoring with an average of 12.5 points per game for a total of 324 points scored.
Bluejays sophomore forward Sophia Coker made second team all-Marawood North Conference this season. Sophia Coker led Athens in rebounds with an average of 11.1 rebounds per game for a total of 301. She also paced the Bluejays in blocks on defense with an average of 2.0 blocks per game for a total of 54.
Sophia Coker was third on the team in scoring with an average of 10.3 points per game for 277 total and she was third on the team in steals with an average of 3.1 steals per game for 83 total.
Other players who made second team all-Marawood North Conference are senior Jensen Weik of Phillips, junior Mallory Burcaw and freshman Kali Heikkinen of Prentice and sophomore Danielle Mann of Rib Lake.
The following players garnered honorable mention all-Marawood North Conference this season: Abbotsford senior Aleah Graff and sophomore Sommer Brodhagan, Athens seniors McKenzie Schug and Elizabeth Van Rixel, Chequamegon juniors Lexi Harris and Kramah Shomila, Phillips juniors Kendall Weik and Elsa Schluter, Prentice senior Leah Thums and Rib Lake seniors Lauren Pelnis and Molly Heiser.
The following players made the all-Marawood North Conference defensive team this season: sophomores Sommer Brodhagen of Abbotsford, Jazelle Hartwig of Athens, Alayna Rybak of Chequamegon and Kacy Eggebrecht of Phillips and juniors Mallory Burcaw of Prentice and Kamy Annala of Rib Lake.
