Desirae M. Stockheimer-Blechschmidt, 17, Rib Lake, and Judy M. Hartman, 62, Medford, were involved in an accident on August 14 at 8:48 a.m. in a parking lot at 134 S. Eighth St. in the city of Medford. According to the accident report, the Stockheimer-Blechschmidt vehicle was traveling southbound and the Hartman vehicle was traveling westbound through the parking lot. The Stockheimer-Blechschmidt vehicle struck the Hartman vehicle as it entered the parking lot. The Stockheimer-Blechschmidt vehicle sustained damage to the left side front and left front corner. The Hartman vehicle sustained damage to the right side front and right front corner. Looked but did not see by Stockheimer-Blechschmidt was listed in the report as a factor in the accident.
Janice L. Johnson, 68, Superior, and Stanko Kikic, 79, Medford, were involved in an accident on August 15 at 8:43 a.m. on Hwy 13 in the city of Medford. According to the accident report, the Kikic vehicle was southbound on South Eighth Street approaching the intersection with Clark Street. The Johnson vehicle was exiting a parking lot at 177 S. Eighth St. and saw that the Kikic vehicle had its right turn indicated light blinking. The driver of the Johnson vehicle thought the Kikic vehicle was going to turn into the parking lot and pulled out onto South Eighth Street and was struck by the Johnson vehicle. the right front corner. Failure to yield the right-of-way by Johnson was listed in the report as a factor in the accident.
Heidi M. Sowatzke, 47, Medford and a vehicle owned by Keith L. Cook, 76, Westboro, were involved in an accident on August 16 at 12:24 p.m. in the Kwik Trip parking lot, 177 S. Eighth St. in the city of Medford. According to the accident report, the Sowatzke vehicle was backing out of a parking space and struck the unoccupied Cook vehicle which was parked in a non-designated parking area by the west side fence. Both vehicles sustained minor damage to their rear bumpers.
Nicole E. Van Luven, 24, Rib Lake, and Barbara A. Pitzke, 64, Stetsonville, were involved in an accident on August 16 at 5:35 p.m. on Ann’s Way in the city of Medford. According to the accident report, the Pitzke vehicle was westbound on Ann’s Way. The Van Luven vehicle was exiting the Walmart parking lot and was stopped for the stop sign at Ann’s Way. The driver of the Van Luven vehicle looked but did not see the Pitzke vehicle and proceeded to make a left turn onto Ann’s Way, striking the side of the Pitzke vehicle. The Van Luven vehicle sustained minor damage to the right side front. The Pitzke vehicle sustained minor damage to the left side middle. Failed to yield the right-of-way and looked but did not see by Van Luven were listed in the report as factors in the accident.
Richard B. Stenzel, 76, Hawkins, was involved in an accident on August 9 at 3:40 a.m. on CTH N in the town of Westboro. According to the accident report, the Stenzel vehicle was southbound on CTH N when it encountered a washed out portion of the roadway. The vehicle jumped the gap in the roadway and impacted on the other side hard enough to leave marks in the roadway and cause the driver side tire to come off the vehicle. The vehicle continued into the west ditch before coming to a stop. Stenzel sustained suspected serious injuries and was transported to Aspirus Medford Hospital for medical treatment. The vehicle sustained damage to the front, left front corner, left side front, left side rear, rear, right front corner and undercarriage. It was towed from the scene. Weather and road conditions were listed in the report as factors in the accident.
Antoinette M. McCutcheon, 57, Kennan, was involved in an accident on August 9 at 3:40 a.m. on CTH N in the town of Westboro. According to the accident report, the McCutcheon vehicle was southbound on CTH N when it encountered a washed out portion of the roadway. The driver slowed down but was unable to stop the vehicle before it went down into the washed out area, causing the airbag to deploy. McClutcheon was able to climb out of the vehicle and up onto the roadway. She sustained suspected minor injuries and was transported to Aspirus Medford Hospital for medical treatment. The vehicle sustained damage to the front, left front corner, left side front, left rear corner, rear, right rear corner, right side front, right front corner and undercarriage. It was towed from the scene. Weather and road conditions were listed in the report as factors in the accident.
Aaron S. Bankes, 41, Medford, was involved in an accident on July 23 at 8:15 p.m. on Hwy 64 in the town of Ford. According to the accident report, a motorcycle operated by Bankes was eastbound on Hwy 64 when a deer ran out in front of it and was struck by the motorcycle. Bankes and a passenger on the motorcycle, Brenda A. Bankes, 41, Medford, were ejected from the motorcycle. The motorcycle came to a stop in the middle of the roadway, but was moved to the side of the road prior to the arrival of law enforcement. Both people sustained suspected serious injuries. He was transported by air to Marshfield Medical Center-Marshfield for medical treatment. She was transported by ground to Aspirus Medford Hospital for medical treatment. There was damage to the front and right side middle of the motorcycle. It was towed from the scene.
