Edward A. Pogue, 49, Eagle River, and Justin J. Monness, 31, Spencer, were involved in an accident on May 16 at 4:45 p.m. on Cemetery Avenue in the town of Chelsea. According to the accident report, both vehicles were westbound on Cemetery Avenue. The Monness vehicle, a farm tractor, pulled over to the right side of the road with the intention of making a wide left turn into a field. The driver of the Pogue vehicle assumed the operator of the Monness vehicle was letting him pass and proceeded to go around the Monness vehicle just as it began to turn into the field. The Monness vehicle struck the Pogue vehicle, causing damage to the right side middle, right side rear and right rear corner. There was no damage to the Monness vehicle.
Kathryn L. Behnke, 30, Medford, and Jaxsyn A. Johnson, 16, Withee, were involved in an accident on May 22 at 8:34 p.m in a parking lot at 340 E. Eighth St. in the city of Medford. According to the accident report, the Behnke vehicle was stopped at a parking lot stop sign waiting to exit onto Hwy 13 when the driver began to back up. As the vehicle was backing up, the Johnson vehicle drove up behind the Behnke vehicle and the vehicle collided. Johnson stated she was stopped behind the Behnke vehicle and it backed into her vehicle. The Behnke vehicle sustained damage to the rear. There was no reported damage to the Johnson vehicle.
Kaylee J. Berry, 21, Medford, and Donna L. Czeshinski, 78, Medford, were involved in an accident on May 23 at 6:43 p.m. at the intersection of Ann’s Way and Hwy 13 in the city of Medford. According to the accident report, both vehicles entered the roundabout from Ann’s Way and while traveling through the roundabout, the Czeshinski vehicle struck the side of the Berry vehicle, causing damage to the right side middle and right side rear. There was damage to the left front corner and left side front of the Czeshinski vehicle.
Dallas A. Smart, 36, Medford, was involved in an

accident on May 17 at 3:54 a.m. on Elm Avenue in the town of Deer Creek. According to the accident report, the Smart vehicle was eastbound on Elm Avenue when the vehicle left the pavement and proceeded onto the gravel portion of the road. The report stated the vehicle swerved left and then right before leaving the roadway and entered the ditch. The vehicle continued into a field and became airborne, overturned and became airborne again before landing and rolling backward a short distance. The report stated Smart notified a towing com- pany and left the scene prior to the towing company’s arrival. The report went on to state Smart informed the towing company via telephone that he had lost control of the vehicle upon reaching the gravel, that he had not reported the accident and that he was home and sore. The report stated attempts to contact Smart were unsuccessful. Speeding too fast for conditions and running off the roadway by Smart were listed in the report as factors in the accident. He was issued citations for failure of occupant to notify police of an accident, failure to keep vehicle under control, and unreasonable and imprudent speed.
Trevor W. Zawacki, 16, Gilman, was involved in an accident on May 18 at 7:50 a.m. on Hwy 73 in the town of Aurora. According to the accident report, the Zawacki vehicle was southbound on Hwy 73 when the vehicle drove onto the west shoulder of the roadway. The driver over-corrected and lost control. The vehicle slid sideways into the east ditch and came to a stop on the driver’s side. There was damage to the entire left side of the vehicle. Looking away from the task by Zawacki was listed in the report as a factor in the accident.
Sebastian M. Mabie, 22, Medford, was involved in an accident on May 19 at 4:02 p.m. on Centennial Parkway in the city of Medford. According to the accident report, the Mabie vehicle was northbound on Centennial Parkway when the driver failed to negotiate a left curve in the roadway. The vehicle left the roadway and struck a traffic sign indicating the left curve in the roadway. Mabie stated he was tired and had just finished a long work shift. The vehicle sustained minor damage to the right front corner and right side front. Looking away from task and operating a motor vehicle in an inattentive, careless or erratic manner by Mabie were listed in the report as factors in the accident.
Mark K. Gallistel, 68, Ogema, was involved in an accident on May 20 at 5:35 a.m. on Hwy 13 in the town of Medford. According to the accident report, the Gallistel vehicle was southbound on Hwy 13 south of the intersection with Hites Lane when a deer ran onto the roadway and was struck by the Gallistel vehicle. The deer was thrown across the highway by the impact of the collision and passed through the posts of the highway sign for Hites Lane, knocking the sign down.The Gallistel vehicle sustained damage to the front, left front corner, left side front and right front corner.
