Pamela J. Schield, 61, Medford, and a vehicle owned by Kelley A. Beidel, Medford, were involved in an accident on March 1 at 4:55 p.m. on East Perkins Street in the city of Medford. According to the accident report, the Schield vehicle was backing out of a parking lot along the north side of East Perkins Street. The Beidel vehicle was legally parked and unoccupied on the south side of East Perkins Street. Schield did not see the Beidel vehicle and backed into it, causing minor damage to the left side rear and left rear corner. The Schield vehicle sustained minor damage to the right rear corner. Unsafe backing and looked but did not see by Schield were listed in the report as factors in the accident.

Julie L. Taves, 55, Athens, and Alexis M. Anderson, 23, Medford, were involved in an accident on March 9 at 2:17 p.m. in a parking lot at 160 Eastview Dr. in the city of Medford. According to the accident report, the Taves vehicle was northbound and the Anderson vehicle was westbound through the parking lot. Anderson stated when she saw the Taves vehicle, she was unable to stop in time and her vehicle collided with the Taves vehicle. The Taves vehicle sustained disabling damage to the right side middle. The Anderson vehicle sustained minor damage to the front.

Gabriella D. Becker, 25, Merrill, was involved in an accident on March 6 at 9 p.m on Elm Avenue in the town of Little Black. According to the accident report, the Becker vehicle was westbound on Elm Avenue when the driver lost control on the icy roadway. The vehicle entered the south ditch and struck a tree, causing disabling damage to the front, right front corner and left front corner.

Zachary T. J. Mock, 22, Stanley, was involved in an accident on March 7 at 1:10 a.m. on Pinewood Drive in the town of Taft. According to the accident report, the Mock vehicle was westbound on Pinewood Drive when the driver swerved to avoid a deer in the roadway. The vehicle entered the north ditch and spun, striking a tree with the passenger side of the vehicle. Mock sustained suspected minor injuries, but was not transported for medical treatment. The vehicle sustained disabling damage to the front, right front corner, right side middle, right side rear, right rear corner, rear, left rear corner and left front corner. Swerved or avoided due to wind, slippery surface, motor vehicle, object or nonmotorist in roadway by Mock was listed in the report as a factor in the accident. He was issued citations for failure of operator to notify police of an accident and failure to keep vehicle under control.

Jared R. Purdy, 24, Medford, was involved in an accident on March 13 at 11:30 p.m. on Crane Drive in the town of Medford. According to the accident report, the Purdy vehicle was northbound on Crane Drive when the driver fell asleep. The vehicle entered the east ditch and struck a power line pole before coming to a stop. The vehicle sustained disabling damage to the right side middle, right side rear, right rear corner, rear, left rear corner and left side rear. Driver condition and running off the roadway by Purdy were listed in the report as factors in the accident. He was issued a citation for operating while under the influence.

The following deer-related accident were reported: Marshall W. Matson, 26, Stetsonville, on March 8 at 7:44 p.m. on CTH A in the town of Little Black.

Larry E. Drager, 71, Lublin, on March 12 at 7:23 p.m. on CTH F in the town of Roosevelt.

Henry E. Brushaber, 87, Medford, on March 13 at 6:06 p.m. on Hwy 13 in the town of Medford.

Connie F. Bestul, 48, Iola, on March 14 at 7:43 p.m. on Hwy 13 in the town of Little Black.

Austin J. Kauffman, 30, Medford, was involved in an accident on March 12 at 4:20 a.m. on Hwy 64 in the town of Hammel. According to the accident report, the Kauffman vehicle was eastbound on Hwy 64 when the driver swerved to avoid a deer in the roadway. The vehicle entered the south ditch, struck a power line pole and rolled over. There was disabling damage to the entire vehicle. Swerved or avoided due to wind, slippery surface, motor vehicle, object or non-motorist in roadway by Kauffman was listed in the report as a factor in the accident. He was issued a citation for failure to keep vehicle under control.
