Forward Bank sponsors back-to-back $5K Shots in Gilman and Medford
Forward Bank will be sponsoring a $5,000 Half Court Shot Thursday, Feb. 6 at Gilman’s girls basketball game against Columbus Catholic and Feb. 7 at Medford’s boys basketball game with Rhinelander.
Each fan in attendance those evenings to cheer on the Gilman Pirates or Medford Raiders will be eligible to attempt the $5,000 Half Court Shot. The lucky shooter will have two attempts to make the shot from the half court line. If successful, the shooter will receive $2,500 and $2,500 will be donated to the school’s athletic program on their behalf. Even if the throw is missed, Forward Bank will make a $250 donation to the athletic program. There is no cost to participate.
“We are excited to continue our partnership with our local school athletic programs and support our student ath- letes with this unique donation opportunity,” said Dave Clark, executive vice president. “I encourage everyone to pack the stands for their favorite team.”
Gilman’s varsity game on Feb. 6 starts at 7:15 p.m., while Medford’s varsity game on Feb. 7 tips at 6:45 p.m.
