Spring into success: celebrating achievements as we near the end of the school year

With spring here, it signals the approach of the middle of Trimester 3 as the school year gets closer to its finish. With the final stretch ahead, it's a great reminder to all that it is important to maintain our academic focus.
We have had a lot to celebrate and many people to recognize for their outstanding achievements. Congratulations to Rogan Ashbeck and Autumn Zvolena, who have been selected as our Cloverbelt Conference Scholar Athlete representatives. In addition, Rogan was nominated along with Ryker Littlefield to represent Loyal as the Academic Scholars for the Cloverbelt Conference. These accomplishments are a testament to their hard work and dedication, both in the classroom and on the field.
Our middle/high school Trimester 2 award ceremony will be Wednesday, April 23, at 8:15 a.m. These awards highlight the achievements of those who have demonstrated outstanding academic performance, commitment, and perseverance. Congratulations to all recipients for their impressive accomplishments and for setting a great example for their peers.
We have had numerous successes with our career and technical student organizations this year. FBLA (Future Business Leaders of America), FCCLA (Family, Career, and Community Leaders of America), and FFA all participated in state competitions, showcasing the talent and dedication of our students. A special congratulations to Jonah Vircks, who was named Region 2 vice president. Additionally, Noelle Teschner will soon conclude her term as a state officer, marking the end of an incredible chapter of leadership and service.
A big congratulations to our three-act play actors for their outstanding performance of “Bringing Down the House.” Their dedication, hard work, and passion truly brought the characters to life on stage. Each actor displayed impressive skill and emotion, making the play an unforgettable experience for everyone who attended. We are incredibly proud of their performance and the way they engaged the audience from start to finish. Well done to all involved! A few reminders to families: – LEG (Learning Enrichment Group) is offered every Tuesday and Thursday after school until 4:30 p.m. for all middle school students. This is a great opportunity for students to receive extra help with homework, study for upcoming tests, or get additional support in their classes.
– There will be no school for students from Thursday, April 17, through Monday, April 21. School will reconvene on Tuesday, April 22. Starting that day, elementary students will participate in a variety of Earth Week activities.
– Middle/high school parent-teacher conferences will be held on Thursday, April 17, from 3:30-7 p.m. Please plan to meet with your student’s teachers to discuss any areas of concern or success.
– In closing, I would like to personally invite our families and community members to the Class of 2025 graduation ceremony on Saturday, May 24, at 1 p.m. This is a wonderful opportunity to celebrate the hard work and dedication that our students have demonstrated throughout their academic careers and to wish them well on their future endeavors. We look forward to celebrating this special milestone together!
