The Loyal Community Food Pantry at 132 N. Main St. will be open on Tuesdays from 9 a.m.-noon, Wednesdays from 2:30-5 p.m., and Thursdays from 9 a.m.-noon. For more info, call 715-503-1071.

The Greenwood Lions Club will host bingo at the Greenwood American Legion. Doors open at 5:30 p.m., bingo starts at 6:30 p.m.

The Loyal American Legion Club will hold a fish fry from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. at 302 N. Union St., Loyal.

The Greenwood American Legion will hold a Veterans Appreciation Breakfast from 8 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at the Greenwood American Legion Hall at 108 S. Main St., Greenwood. The event is open and free for all, but a recommended donation of $3-5 is asked for any non-veterans attending the event.

Munson Bridge Winery, W6462 Bridge Road, Withee, will host its Christmas Open House from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Vendors and Santa will be there, with many treats and samples to enjoy.

The Loyal Legion Club will hold a Veterans Breakfast from 7:30 a.m. until noon at 302 N. Union St., Loyal. Adult meals will be $10, kids 6-10 will be $5 and 5 and under eat free.

The 1st Brigade Band from Watertown will perform its authentic Civil War musical arrangements at the LuCille Tack Center for the Arts, 400 N. School St., Spencer, at 2 p.m., using era instruments and historical anecdotes,. The Greenwood-Loyal schools’ drama department will present a community performance of “The Last Illusion” by B. Dwayne Craft at 1 p.m. in the Loyal High School gym.

There will be Veterans Day ceremonies at the following schools: Granton High School fieldhouse, 8:30 a.m.; Spencer High School old gym, 9 a.m.; Greenwood High School gym, 10 a.m.; Loyal High School gym, 10 a.m.

There will be a Veterans Day ceremony at The Highground at 1:30 p.m. in the new Welcome Center, plus the Honor Our Veterans raffle drawing.

There will be bingo at the Colby Lions Club shelter. Doors open at 5:45 p.m., bingo starts at 6:30 p.m. There will be refreshments and food available, and a 50/50 cash and turkey raffle.

The Greenwood American Legion Post 238 will hold a fish fry from 4-7 p.m. at the Greenwood American Legion Hall at 108 S. Main St., Greenwood.

The LuCille Tack Center for the Arts, at 400 N. School St., Spencer, will host a performance by Willie and Family Live at 7:30 p.m. The 90-minute program will be a tribute to country music singer Willie Nelson. For tickets, call 715-659-4499 or go to lucilletackcenter.com.

The Greenwood Area Food Pantry, 302 N. Main St., Greenwood, will be open from 3-5:30 p.m. for anyone needing assistance.

The Magical Rondini’s Bombastic Bubble Show will be at the Tractors for Autism and Disabilities building located at 212 West Spring St., Loyal, at 1 p.m. Free event. Call Peggy Brandt at 715-650-1576 for info.

St. John’s Lutheran Church, 210167 Hwy. 13, Spencer, will host a COME Meal, from 5-6 p.m, serving cranberry/apricot pork loin roast, rice, squash and bars. This is a free community meal for everyone.

November 27

St. John’s Lutheran Church, 210167 Hwy. 13, Spencer, will have a community Thanksgiving service at 6:30 p.m. Everyone is invited to come praise and thank the Lord. Freewill offering – non-perishable food items or cash will go to the King’s Food Pantry, Spencer.

The three Loyal congregations invite the community to join together to give thanks to God at a Thanksgiving Eve community worship service at 7 p.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church, 201 N. West St., Loyal. All offerings received will go to the Loyal Food Pantry.
