Court dates Sept. 1-15 Violations resulting in incarceration or probation Alicia Ann Hoffmann, 22, Athens, was fined $5,271.10 for homicide by negligent operation of a vehicle. Her sentence was withheld and she was placed on probation for five years. She had her license revoked for one year.

Madeleine Alice Hanson, 27, Neillsville, wasfined$1,844foroperatingwhileintoxicated (OWI, third). She was sentenced to 45 days in local jail. She had her license revoked for 24 months, and will be required to use an ignition interlock device for 24 months and complete an alcohol assessment. Charges of misdemeanor and felony bail jumping (repeater), exceeding speed zones, etc. (16-19 mph) and operating a motor vehicle without proof of insurance were dismissed but read in to the court record.

Serafin Zuniga Hernandez, 45, Colby, was fined $886 for battery and disorderly conduct. He was sentenced to 10 days in jail and was placed on probation for two years. A charge of strangulation and suffocation was dismissed but read in to the court record.

Tyler S. Ress, 35, Spencer, was fined $518 for felony bail jumping (repeater). He was sentenced to one year in local jail. Charges dismissed but read in to the court record include three counts of felony bail jumping (repeater, two with a domestic abuse assessments modifier) and two counts of contact after domestic abuse (repeater).

Bismark Zelaya Lopez, 42, Colby, was fined $518 for child abuse — intentionally cause harm. His sentence was withheld and he was placed on probation for two years.

Nelson R. Niemi, 70, Owen, was fined $443 for fourth-degree sexual assault. His sentence was withheld and he was placed on probation for one year.

Michael Roy Lindeen, 57, Cosmos, Minn., was fined $2,675.50 for violation of special weight limits.

Laura Jean Harmon, 59, Owen, was fined $2,473.40 for three counts of dog licenses required, two counts of allowing a dog to run at large and three counts of unleashed dogs or other animals running at large.

Ronaldo Villatoro Moreno, 23, Dorchester, was fined $2,262.10 for reckless driving — endangering safety, operating left of center and operating with a prohibited alcohol concentration (PAC) greater than or equal to 0.15 (first). He had his license revoked for seven months, and will be required to use an ignition interlock device and complete an alcohol assessment.

Devin Michael Gurklis, 24, Thorp, was fined $968 for operating with a PAC greater than or equal to 0.08 but less than 0.15 (first).He had his license revoked six months and will be required to complete an alcohol assessment.

Benedicto Olivera Betanco, 48,Abbotsford, was fined $936.50 for operating with a PAC greater than 0.08 but less than 0.15 (first). His license was revoked for six months and he will be required to complete an alcohol assessment.

Brenda Michele Eichelt, 54, Stanley, was fined $779 for possession of drug paraphernalia and a Uniform Controlled Substance Act violation.

Michael Kenneth Foth, 54, Greenwood, was fined $779 for disorderly conduct and obstructing/interfering with an officer.

Stacy L. Helminski, 38, Medford, was fined $543 for misdemeanor bail jumping (domestic abuse assessments).

Rufino Montiel Caballero, 24, Curtiss, was fined $539.60 for failure of operator to notify police of accident and improper display of license plate/tag/decal.

Natanael Santiago Santiago, 18, Curtiss, was fined $443 for operating without a valid license (second within three years). Charges of operating a motor vehicle without insurance and operating without a valid license (second within three years) were dismissed but read in to the court record.

Brian Michael Wallenhorst, 35, Thorp, was fined $389.50 for reckless driving — endanger safety, amended from OWI (first).
