Principal’s Message Principal’s Message

by Grade 6-12 Principal Jason Gorst

Well, we made it! It was certainly a year filled with ups and downs. I want to thank the students for their continued diligence and especially the senior class for the way they conducted themselves with dignity, respect and class throughout their entire time in high school. I want to thank the faculty for their hard work and flexibility through the craziest year ever.

This year we hosted a prom for the seniors. We will again host a prom for seniors next year and we are strongly considering adding a third dance to the mix of prom and homecoming. Thank you to Mrs. Sprenger and Mrs. Schweiger for their work as advisors!

Senior Awards Night was held on May 16 and many students received thousands of dollars in various scholarships. Congratulations to the recipients and thank you to all those who sponsor the scholarship to encourage students to advance themselves in society. Graduation was held on May 22. Thirty-eight seniors crossed the stage and will be entering “the real world”. We wish them the best of luck.

This year was no doubt a difficult year not only in the world of education but for everyone. With that being said, we are looking forward to next year. As we continue to return to a more normal setting we are excited for all of the opportunities that will bring. I hope everyone has a great summer and we are optimistic about what the next school year will bring!
