Spencer School District musicians place at district solo-ensemble festival
The Marawood Music Conference WSMA District Solo-Ensemble Festival was held March 28 at Abbotsford High School, with six Spencer events earning a Class A starred first rating to advance to state, which will take place May 3 at UW-Stevens Point. Complete results for the Spencer musicians are as follows.
Senior High Class A starred first
•Soloists: Brooklyn Baumgarten (oboe) and Jolene Lammar (vocal).
•Duet: Jaxon Schweiger and Oliver Schweiger (bassoon and tenor saxophone), and Jaxon Schweiger and Anna Willcome (vocal).
•Spencer High School handbell ensemble: Brooklyn Baumgarten, Rebecca Gomez, Kat Hernandez,Alina Jackson, Vayda Kelnhofer, Ariana Krueger, Jolene Lammar, Blessing Ngirwe, Peyton Ostricki, Kaitlin Radue, Wylie Seefeldt, and Skye Shull.
•Spencer High School treble jazz ensemble: Caitlin Clark, Ashley Fitzgerald, Kat Hernandez, Alina Jackson, Theresa Knecht, Jolene Lammar, Emma Nieman, Blessing Ngirwe, Kaitlin Radue, Hannah Schreiner, Keely Schuh, Ema Schultz, Jaxon Schweiger, Addison Soyk, Abigail Wilke, and Anna Willcome.

•Duets: Jolene Lammar and Rylen Lammar (vocal), and Oliver Schweiger and Hope Henseler (tenor saxophone and tuba).
•Handbell solo: Kaitlin Radue.

•Soloists: Braden Kieffer (euphonium), Braden Kieffer (vocal), Mya Kramp (vocal), Lyra Van Hoof (flute), Lyra Van Hoof (vocal), and Savannah Wilke (vocal).
