of our own,” said Doerr. “There is a different bond between us than a lot of others — it’s a brotherhood and sisterhood.”

Doerr brings some unique experiences to this new position. After he got out of the military, he started a private equity company, which gave him experience in finance and effective marketing. He also has volunteered at the camp since June.

“We are thrilled to welcome Matthew Doerr to Camp Victory Inc.,” said Randall. “His exemplary military background and unwavering commitment to our mission make him an invaluable addition to our team. We look forward to his leadership and the positive impact he will bring to our community.”

Camp Victory is dedicated to providing support and resources to veterans, first responders and their families, and under Doerr’s leadership, the organization aims to enhance its outreach and effectiveness.

Doerr said he wanted to emphasize community involvement and making the community aware of how they can be a part of what’s happening at the camp. For more information about Camp Victory and its programs, visit campvictoryinc.org or contact Doerr at 715-267-6832.

Doerr succeeds Jeffrey LeCount, who took on the executive director role in 2022.

“Even though the camp has chosen to move on without me, I truly hope they succeed in the mission of helping veterans, first responders and their families. I hope many who have struggles find their peace through the camp,” LeCount wrote in a statement.
