Construction Season Beginning Soon!

We are into spring, which will also mean construction season for us. Construction for our 2024 referendum projects will begin soon. Planning for the project began in the fall of 2022, voters approved the referendum in the spring of 2024, construction will begin soon, and the projects are scheduled to be finalized by August 2026.

Throughout the process, there will be many temporary inconveniences as access to parts of the building and parking lots will be restricted. We will do our best to work with our construction management company to minimize those inconveniences. We will keep you up to date with the construction and any updates by utilizing our website. There will be a construction link on the top of our main page. We will also communicate any updates using our Facebook page.

Construction work will begin on April 14th. Work will start on our middle/high school east parking lot and six classroom addition. At this time the parking lot will be unavailable until it is completed. This will most likely be in late July. We will be providing information on how to navigate those areas. The shipping and receiving expansion will begin in mid-May. We will designate a temporary area for deliveries during this work. Once school is out, the new library foundation work will begin followed by the elementary school's four classroom addition. Quite a bit of HVAC, cabling, and other infrastructure work will be completed over the summer.

The middle/high school six classroom addition and library are scheduled to be completed in December. At that time, we will move from the old library to the new library and the old library will be converted into the middle/high school main office.

The pool HVAC and lighting work will begin in January 2026 so it is ready for the summer swimming lessons. The kitchen renovation and expansion will take place in the summer of 2026. We will be communicating summer feeding changes prior to that.

We are very appreciative of the community support for these projects and ask that everyone is patient as we navigate through the construction process. There will be a groundbreaking ceremony on April 15th at 1:30 p.m. We will meet in the South Gym prior to heading out to shovel some dirt. The public is welcome to attend.
