Fire at Airport Bar Sunday The warehouse at the Airport Bar, between here and Colby, was completely destroyed by fire Sunday night. At about 9 o’clock, fire was discovered, probably caused by an oil burner, and was apparently extinguished. Mr. and Mrs. Mitchell Kacer, who have leased the place from Joe Sanders, Dancy, moved some of the contents out of the warehouse and retired. At about 12:15, they were wakened by a car horn and found the entire warehouse was ablaze.

A juke box, pin ball machine and fixtures in the tavern were a total loss, as well as what was left in the warehouse. There was no insurance carried on this by the Kacers. It is reported that Mr. Sanders had some insurance.
