Boy scouts enjoy outing

The Tribune-Phonograp h Published in Colby Thursday, September 28, 1972 Fifteen boy scouts, accompanied by Scoutmaster Howard Bobbe, and assistant Scoutmaster Henry Nacker, embarked in the school bus, Saturday afternoon, for a weekend outing.

Their destination was the McNamarr hunting cabin, way back in the woods, northwest of Lake Nineteen in Taylor County.

The weekend was packed with the fun of camping. On Saturday night, the group gathered around a big campfire and sang songs, told stories and ended with a moonlight hike, and so to bed. Sleeping out were Scouts Bob Reichersamer, Donald Farning, Ronnie Warns, and the two men. The others bunked in the cabin. At 6 a.m. the camp was alive and renewed with vigor. Two boys deserve special mention for the success of the expedition. They are Wayne Schade, cook, and Jack Reichersamer, cookie who satisfied the ravenous appetites of the troop in a most approved way.

The boys are very eager to repeat the expedition, and might, provided the leaders enjoy complete recuperation.
