My heart is racing
I am in shock from how fast the time has gone by and how quickly the weeks have flown by since I began working this job. It’s almost unbelievable.
I’ve probably done about a dozen stories sine I started. I’ve filled up my camera at least five times, and my week is jam packed with events to cover.
I will be covering news while Sami covers the sports events, so this makes the job a lot easier. But unfortunately this week, Sami isn’t here. What that means is I am covering a little bit of everything, let’s just say this Monday is the hardest and most stressful Monday’s I’ve ever had.
Thankfully, Ross is still coming into the office and helping me out.
Speaking of the office, we have this cat named Demo, he attacks me non stop. He sees me as a toy and is rather annoying.
We have another cat named Tubs, he’s chill, he just likes his pets and food.
I prefer dogs over cats, I’ve always had this weird feeling about cats and I think Demo sees that and takes advantage of me. He’s a really good cat until I start to go upstairs, I may have to resort to a downstairs office if there is one, just so he can get used to me and not attack me anymore.
Don’t get me wrong I love cats, they’re my second favorite animal behind dogs. I have two of my own at home a black cat named Ghost Saber for bad luck to balance out my good luck and the other one is small and white with grey spots, her name is Mini.
Ghost saber attacked me the first time we met. I was rubbing his belly and he snapped and scratched and bit me. I said “What’s the problem bro?” He lets me pet his belly now, but I am still weary around him.
Mini got my brother Jordan good one time. Mini doesn’t like other cats and Ghost Saber got out of the bathroom. He chased Mini upstairs and Mini clung onto brothers leg with her nails and dragged down as gravity forced her back to the ground. “Help, help, help,” screamed Jordan.
I was unaware of what was going on. I just heard dashing and crashing, then all of sudden someone was screaming. As the good brother I am I got out of bed. Sure enough Ghost Saber was out of the bathroom flying around.
I secured him in my arms and took him back to the bathroom. He wasn’t out for long, but long enough to see the other cat.
He was an outdoor cat, my dad found him at Welcome Dairy. But we brought him inside, it was way to cold outside for him. I wouldn’t call him an inside cat, but he sure thinks he is. He absolutely loves it, we’ve been trying to put him back outside on those few warm days. But, he just sat on the porch and stared inside. I gave in and let him back inside.
Out for a walk
