ALENDAR PUZZLE COMPETITION
The CCL is hosting “Puzzle Setting Competitions” on Monday, Dec. 30 at 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. Teams of two to four people, ages eight-adult, need to register by December 20. Each team will be timed and working on identical 300-piece puzzles. Prizes will be awarded to the winning teams.
SNOWMOBILE SAFETY CLASS
The Colby Trailblazers Snowmobile Club will be holding a snowmobile safety class on Thursday, Dec. 26 and Monday, Dec. 30 from 5:30 - 8:30 p.m. at the Colby Lions Shelter. Anyone 12 - 15 years of age is required to pass a classroom course before operating a snowmobile on a public trail. DNR certified instructors will be teaching the course. STRONG BODIES ACROSS CLARK CO.
Strong bodies is a progressive strengthtraining program and its goal is to improve the health and well-being of middle-aged and older adults. Join classes in Colby or Dorchester. Colby classes will be starting Jan. 7, extending for eight weeks, from 9:30 10:30 a.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays located in the Colby Senior Center. Dorchester classes will begin Feb. 4. LUCKY 7 AT THE CCL
The Colby Community Library has been in the new building for seven years in December. To celebrate stop by the month of December and see if you are the “special number” patron of the day. Only one patron per day will be selected to play the “Lucky 7” game to win a prize.
ABBOTSFORD WOMEN’S ALUMNI VOLLEYBALL
The Abbotsford Booster Club will be hosting the 16th Annual Abbotsford High School Women's Alumni Volleyball Tournament on January 11, 2025, at the Abbotsford High School. Money raised from the tournament is used to fund senior scholarships and make other school donations.
Doors will be open at 8 a.m. with the first game scheduled to begin at 8:30 a.m. Come out to support a great cause and great alumni players!
