alendar FREE THROW COMPETITION
The Colby Knights of Columbus Council will host a free throw competition on Sunday, January 22 with registration beginning at 12:45 and competition at 1 p.m. in the Colby H.S. Gym. The competition is open to all boys and girls, ages 9-14. Winners will receive a certificate and medal, and will advance to the next level of competition. MIDNIGHT RIDERS SNOWMOBILE CLUB Midnight Riders Snowmobile Club will hold their monthly meeting on Saturday, January 14, 2023 at noon with a cookout to follow the meeting. The meeting will be held at 234022 Rosedale Ave., just outside of Dorchester. All members are encouraged to attend. CURTISS LIONS BASKET AUCTION
The Curtiss Lions Club will be hosting a basket raffle auction on Saturday, Jan. 14 starting at 7 p.m. at Time Flies Bar and Grill on Hwy. E in Curtiss. Proceeds from the auction benefit scholarships for local students, provide food for those in need, fund leader dogs for the blind and provide support for those struggling with medical bills.
HOPE CENTER HAPPENINGS
The Hope Center in Abbotsford is offering free English lessons on Sundays 3:30 p.m. - 5:30 p.m. and on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays starting at 6:00 p.m. The Hope Center is also offering free Spanish lessons on Thursdays from 4:30 - 6 p.m. To participate in the classes, students must register at www.hopecenter.space. The Hope Center is also hosting a worship service at 10 a.m. on Sundays.

ABBOTSFORD ALUMNI VOLLEYBALL TOURNAMENT The Abbotsford Booster Club will be hosting the 15th annual Abbotsford High School Women’s Alumni Volleyball Tournament on January 14, 2023, at the Abbotsford High School. Money raised from the tournament is used to fund senior scholarships and make other school donations.
Doors will be open at 8 a.m. with the first game scheduled to begin at 8:30 a.m. Come out to support a great cause and great alumni players.
