ALENDAR CCL UPCOMING EVENTS

A reminder to all summer reading program participants to turn in all folders, whale booklets, sea creatures, and reports by Monday, July 18 at 5 p.m. No late items will be accepted. The Reading Finale will be Thursday, July 21 at 10 a.m. in the Amphitheater, weather permitting.

CCL BOOK & MOVIE SALE

The Colby Cheese Days Book & Movie Sale will be held at the Colby Lions Shelter (103 W. Adams Street) on Thursday, July 14 and Friday, July 15 from 7 a.m.-7 p.m. and Saturday, July 16 from 8 a.m.-noon. Books are 25 cents. Movies, CDs, audiobooks, and puzzles are $1. Saturday is Bag Day: Fill a grocery bag for $5. Also, Seroogy’s candy bars will be sold. The Friends of the Colby Community Library group is sponsoring the sale.

BOOK SPEED DATING NIGHT

Teens are invited to the Abbotsford Public Library for a book speed dating/pizza party on Monday, July 18th at 6:00 p.m. Enjoy some pizza while you “Hook”-up with some good books. Registration Required, please call 715-223-3920. This is a free event.

ABBOTSFORD EDUCATION FOUNDATION The Abbotsford Education Foundation will hold its annual meeting on Wednesday, July 20, at 6:45 p.m. at the Abbotsford High School Community Room. The Public is welcome to attend.

RED CROSS BLOOD DRIVE

RURAL ARTS MUSEUM

The Rural Arts Museum is open on Saturday, July 15, Sunday, July 16 and the first and third Saturday in August, from 1 to 4 p.m., or by appointment, by calling Lee Kaschinska at 715-316-0151. The museum board has a regular meeting on the first Monday of every month at 6:30 p.m. at the Heritage Building on the museum grounds. Visitors are welcome to attend.

CLARK COUNTY FOUNDATION

The Clark County Community Foundation is accepting tax-deductible contributions for student scholarships and donations to local community organizations and nonprofits. HOBBYLAND FLYERS FUN FLY

The Hobbyland Flyers 32nd annual radio control model airplane fun fly will be held on July 16 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Club Field in the Town of Holton. The address is 5552 Rosedale Ave. Abbotsford, WI 54405. There will be brats, hamburgers, hot dogs and refreshments available to purchase. Admission is free for the public and there is a fee for pilots. An awards ceremony for best of show, best military, best biplane and best sport will follow the event.

SCREENING AT ST. BERNARD’S
