C alendar COLBY DAIRY BREAKFAST
The Colby Dairy Breakfast will be held at Gumz Farms, Inc., 227715 County F, Colby from 7 a.m. to 12 p.m. on June 26. There will be a polka band, petting zoo, face painting and more. Ages five and under can enter for free.
CPL BOOK COLLECTION
The Friends of the Colby Library group is collecting books and movies for the Cheese Days Book and Movie Sale through July 1. Take items to Forward Bank, Colby location, during regular business hours. No items will be accepted at the library. Books and movies need to be in clean condition. No VHS, magazines or Reader’s Digest Condensed books will be accepted.
CPL MAGIC SHOW
The Magic of Isaiah “Dive Into Reading” show will kick off the Colby Community Library’s summer reading program entertainment. Tuesday, June 21, there will be two magic shows: 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. The venue will be the CCL’s Amphitheater; if it is raining, the shows will be in the library. All shows are free and suitable for all ages, even those not signed up for the summer reading program.
RURAL ARTS MUSEUM
The Rural Arts Museum is open on the second and fourth Saturday in June, Saturday, July 15, Sunday, July 16 and the first and third Saturday in August, from 1 to 4 p.m., or by appointment, by calling Lee Kaschinska at 715-316-0151. The museum board has a regular meeting on the first Monday of every month at 6:30 p.m. at the Heritage Building on the museum grounds. Visitors are welcome to attend.
