Forward Bank sponsoring $1K School Pride Contest

Forward Bank will be sponsoring a $1K School Pride Video Contest for local high schools, encouraging students to highlight a department of their choice that deserves $1,000 in a short video.

Videos may feature live people, stills, animation or whatever students believe will best convey their message. They may choose to work individually or in a small group. Creativity is key.

Videos will be accepted on the Forward Bank website (www.forward. bank/school-pride-video-contest/) through Oct. 23.

The winner(s) will be determined by an initial review committee filled by Forward Bank employees. The top 10 videos from each school will be voted on by the public. The department with the most votes will be the winner.

Each school will have their own voting period that will last one week. Voting will take place from October to April.

“We are excited to continue our partnership with our local schools and support multiple co-curricular departments and clubs with this unique donation opportunity,” commented Bill Sennholz, CEO of Forward Bank. “I encourage students to participate even if they are learning remotely this year! It will be a great way to highlight a variety of departments during these times.”
