ALENDAR RIP RIDERS PARTY ON FRIDAY
The Rip Riders Snowmobile Club will hold its annual Christmas party this Friday, Dec. 6, at 6:30 p.m. at the Unity Town Hall. A potluck dinner will be served, followed by a meeting and party with games and prizes. All old and new members are invited to attend.
SNOWMOBILE CLASS SIGN UP
The Colby Trailblazers Snowmobile Club will once again be offering a snowmobile safety class, with a preregistration session set for Sunday, Dec. 15, from 6 to 7 p.m., at the Colby Lions Shelter, 103 W Adams St. Parents are urged to attend with students. Classes will be held Dec. 26 and 30 from 6 to 9 p.m. also at the Lions Shelter.
State law requires that anyone 12-15 years of age needs to pass a classroom course before operating a snowmobile on a public trail. Certified instructors will be teaching the course. There is a per student fee for taking the course. For more information call 715-212-7914.
CUP PANTRY HOURS
The Community United Pantry at Zion Lutheran Church in Colby is open every Tuesday, from 9 to 11 a.m., for individuals wishing to drop off or pick up food.
TRINITY FOOD PANTRY HOURS
The hours for the food pantry at Trinity Lutheran Church in Unity are Wednesdays, from 5:30 to 7 p.m.
CELEBRATE RECOVERY
Celebrate Recovery is a spiritual 12-step program designed to help people grow in spirit and heal from whatever hurts, hangups or habits have a strong hold on your life. The group meets every Tuesday at 7 p.m. at Zion Lutheran Church, 301 N. 2nd St. in Colby (Jefferson Street entrance).
