Writer cautions against the worship of money and power in this world

Here are some words of War War II combat veteran, Glenn Gray: “Few of us can, onto our real selves long enough to discover the real truth about ourselves and this whirling earth to which we cling.
This is especially true of men in war, The great god Mars tries to blind us when we enter his realm, and when we leave he gives us a generous cup of the waters of Lethe to drink.”
In my mind, the Trump administration is trying to give us a cup from the Lethe so we forget what the Constitution is to us. It is a slap in the face to all the men and women over the past two centuries that have given their minds and bodies for our country to accept a cup from them. The truth hurts and Donald Trump can’t face it, and that’s his Achilles heel, and it will be his downfall. And Donald Trump, here are some words to think about when you keep accusing people of treason from Winston Churchill: “It is the primary right of men to die and kill for the land they live in, and to punish with exceptional severity all members of their own race who have warmed their hands at the invader’s hearth.”
Also when we say the Democrats should leave this country or the Republicans should leave this country, we all sound like Hitler and Trump, two idiots that wanted the world to adore and bow to them only.
This country needs some sound judgement and common sense, because the most terrible and violent of our affections is to despise our own beings. If you call yourself religious or believe in a creator you should understand this.
I will come clean, I do not hate Trump. I hate what he represents, a lost human being that worships two things on this planet — money and power. Two intangible concepts that if left unchecked are pure evil. Me I like little children and puppies, two tangible living things that are pure pleasure. Let’s leave them a clean world.
