What do you think about pending utility rate cases?

 

The Public Service Commission of Wisconsin (PSC) is notifying residents of the various ways to participate in, or observe, the pending electric and natural gas utility rate cases, coming before the commission this fall. Members of the public who want to comment at a public hearing, can do so virtually, via Zoom.

As an alternative, the public may submit comments in writing, online or via U.S. mail.

Public comments received by the deadlines listed below, become part of the official record considered by the commission, when making its decisions.

If a member of the public wants to observe a public hearing without participating, they can watch the hearing at the PSC’s YouTube channel.

Public hearing sessions for the Wisconsin Electric Power Company and Wisconsin Gas LLC (We Energies), will take place the following dates:

• Tuesday, Oct.1, at 2 p.m. and 6 p.m. To participate virtually, at the public hearing, join Zoom, at https://us-02web.zoom.us/my/pschearings. If no adequate internet connection exists, join Zoom, by calling 312-626-6799 and enter ID 809 513 2930.

• Thursday, Oct. 3, at 1 p.m. 6 p.m. To participate virtually, at the public hearing, join Zoom, at https://us-02web.zoom.us/my/pschearings. If no adequate internet connection exists, join Zoom, by calling 312-626-6799 and enter ID 809 513 2930.

The public comment period for these hearings ends Monday, Oct. 7.

The public comment period for this hearing ends Monday, Oct. 14.
