Construction could impact Country Fest travel routes

Construction projects might impact routes motorists are planning to take this week to Country Fest, a three-day music festival that runs from June 27-29, at its grounds on County S, between Cadott and Cornell.

Impacts include the following:

• The ramp from northbound State Hwy. 53 to County Hwy. S, at Exit 99, northwest of Chippewa Falls, is closed to traffic. A message board will direct motorists to continue north on 53, to take Exit 102 (County Hwy. B) in Tilden, and follow B to State Hwy. 124, to County S.

• State Hwy. 27, south of Cadott, is restricted to a single lane of traffic, controlled by temporary signals at the Paint Creek Bridge.

• County Hwy. X is closed to through traffic from County Hwy. K south, to the west ramps at the State Hwy. 29/X interchange, at Exit 87, southwest of Cadott. A message board on 29, east of 53, will direct motorists to take 27, at Exit 91, in Cadott.
