Shane J. Dachel, 35, Sheldon, and Jessica G. Adams, 21, Stanley, were involved in an accident on October 8 at 6:15 p.m. on CTH H in the town of Pershing. According to the accident report, the Adams vehicle was southbound on CTH H and attempted to pass a tractor operated by Dachel towing a piece of farm equipment. As the Adams vehicle was passing the Dachel vehicle, the Dachel vehicle began to make a left turn into a driveway and struck the Adams vehicle. Dachel said the flashers and turn blinker were activated. Adams said the Dachel vehicle did not have the turn blinker on. The Adams vehicle sustained damage to the right side front, right side middle and right side rear. There was no damage to the Dachel vehicle. Looked but did not see by Dachel and improper overtaking while passing on left by Adams were listed in the report as factors in the accident.

David A. Lemke, 80, Medford, was involved in an accident on October 6 at 3 p.m. on CTH M in the town of Grover. According to the accident report, the Lemke vehicle was westbound on CTH M when the driver swerved to avoid a deer in the roadway. The vehicle struck the deer with the front passenger side and then struck a pole on the north side of the road with the rear passenger side as the driver swerved to correct himself.

Jason D. Mallien, 44, Medford, was involved in an accident on October 10 at 1 a.m. at the intersection of Center Avenue and Castle Road in the town of Medford. According to the accident report, the Mallien vehicle was eastbound on Center Avenue and entered the southeast

ditch at the intersection with Castle Road. The vehicle struck several large rocks, causing minor damage to the front. Mallien did not report the accident to law enforcement. He was issued a citation for failure of operator to notify police of an accident.

Grace L. Kershefski, 63, Hawkins, was involved in an accident on October 10 at 10:22 a.m. on Hwy 73 in the town of Jump River. According to the accident report, the Kershefski vehicle was southbound on Hwy 73 negotiating a curve. Passengers stated Kershefski lost control of the vehicle and did not negotiate the curve. A passenger tried to correct, but was unable to. The vehicle entered the ditch and overturned. Kerchefski sustained serious injuries and was transported by air to Aspirus Wausau Hospital for medical treatment. Two passengers in the vehicle were not injured. There was damage to the entire vehicle and it was towed from the scene. Failure to control and failed to keep in designated lane by Kerchefski were listed in the report as factors in the accident.

The following deer-related accidents were reported: Jean R. Jarchow, 39, Rib lake, on October 5 at 6:40 a.m. on Hwy 13 in the town of Medford.

Travis M. Hahn, 34, Schofield, on October 5 at 7:10 a.m. on Hwy 64 in the town of Hammel.

Alex C. Mabie, 20, Medford, on October 6 at 6:58 a.m. on Hwy 64 in the town of Medford.

Zachary J. Sladek, 26, Westboro, on October 10 at 2:21 a.m. on CTH E in the town of Medford.

Michael I. Jeske, 69, Auburndale, on October 11 at 5:24 p.m. on Hwy 13 in the town of Westboro.
