Jean M. Mueller, 54, Stetsonville, and a vehicle owned by Garrett J. Dahl, Medford, were involved in an accident on February 1 at 10:49 a.m. in a private parking lot at 825 Allman St. in the city of Medford. According to the accident report, the Mueller vehicle was backing out of a parking space and struck the legally-parked and unoccupied Dahl vehicle, causing minor damage the left side front. The Mueller vehicle sustained minor damage to the rear. Mueller said she did not see the Dahl vehicle.
Nicky L. Boehlen, 30, Medford, and Jessica J. Otto, 41, Kennan, were involved in an accident on February 7 at 12:46 p.m. in a private parking lot at 177 South Eighth St. in the city of Medford. According to the accident report, the Boehlen vehicle was backing out of a parking space when it struck the Otto vehicle which was driving through the parking lot. Boehlen said she did not see the Otto vehicle. The Boehlen vehicle sustained minor damage to the left rear corner. The Otto vehicle sustained minor damage to the right side middle. Looked but did not see by Boehlen was listed in the report as a factor in the accident.
Tracy L. Hraby, 46, Medford, and Christopher Q. Huther, 44, Medford, were involved in an accident on February 10 at 6:45 a.m. on Allman Avenue in the town of Medford. According to the accident report, both vehicles were westbound on Allman Avenue. The Hraby vehicle stopped for a pickup truck plowing snow in a private driveway, which never drove into the westbound lane of traffic. The Huther vehicle could not stop in time and struck the back of the Hraby vehicle. Both vehicle sustained minor damage to there respective ends. Following too close by Huther was listed in the report as a factor in the accident.
Tammy L. Kautzer, 44, Dorchester, and Christine K. Zager, 53, Owen, were involved in an accident on February 13 at 5:46 a.m. in a private parking lot at 1000 Progressive Avenue in the city of Medford. According to the accident report, the driver of the Kautzer vehicle was waiting to back into a parking space when the Zager vehicle drove through its path. After the Zager vehicle had passed, the driver of the Kautzer vehicle began backing into the parking space at the same time the driver of the Zager vehicle stopped and began backing into the same parking space and the two vehicle collided. The Kautzer vehicle sustained minor damage to the driver’s side rear bumper. The Zager vehicle sustained minor damage to the passenger’s side fender and door.
Karissa M. Hraby, 18, Medford, and Brittnie A. Hancock, 29, Medford, were involved in an accident on February 13 at 3:29 p.m. on South Seventh Street in the city of Medford. According to the accident report, the Hraby vehicle was stopped on the right side of South Seventh Street. The Hancock vehicle was passing the Hraby vehicle when their respective side mirrors made contact.
Sheila J. Gosse, 54, Medford, and Barbara L. Matyka, 53, Rib Lake, were involved in an accident on February 14 at 4:08 p.m. at the intersection of Hwys 13 and 64 in the city of Medford. According to the accident report, the Gosse vehicle was eastbound on Hwy 64 and the Matyka vehicle was northbound on Hwy 13. Both vehicle collided in the intersection. Gosse said she had a green traffic light and was proceeding through the intersection. Matyka said she did not notice the traffic light prior to entering the intersection. The Gosse vehicle sustained minor damage to the right side rear. The Matyka vehicle was not at the scene. Disregarded red traffic light and looked but did not see by Matyka were listed in the report as factors in the accident.
A vehicle owned by Nathan N. Zirngible, Antigo, and an unknown vehicle were involved in a hit-and-run accident on February 7 at 5:30 p.m. in a parking lot at W7958 Hwy 64 in the town of Hammel. According to the accident report, the Zirngible was legally-parked in the lot when it was struck by an unknown vehicle, causing minor damage to the right front corner.
Keith R. Cota Jr., 36, Medford, was involved in an accident on February 14 at 10:57 p.m. on CTH M in the town of Chelsea. According to the accident report, the Cota vehicle was westbound on CTH M when the driver swerved to avoid a deer in the roadway and the vehicle entered the ditch embankment and struck several small trees before digging into the deep snow, causing minor damage to the right front corner. Cota called for a ride and left the scene without reporting the accident to law enforcement. He was later located at his residence. Swerved or avoided due to wind, slippery surface, motor vehicle, object or non-motorist in roadway by Cota was listed in the report as a factor in the accident. He was issued citations for operating while under the influence- third offense, operating while revoked and failure of operator to notify the police of an accident.
Cynthia D. Short Geronsin, 50, Holcombe, was involved in an accident on February 9 at 8:53 a.m. on Hwy 64 in the town of Hammel. According to the accident report, the Short Geronsin vehicle was northbound on Hwy 64 when the drive lost control of the vehicle. The vehicle skidded off the roadway into the east ditch and rolled over before coming to a stop in an upright position. The vehicle sustained damage to the right side front, right side middle, left side front and top. Weather conditions, road surface conditions and speeding too fast for conditions by Short Geronsin were listed in the report as factors in the accident.
