Hi, my name is Sophia ….
Hi, my name is Sophia Drier. I am a junior here at Gilman High School. I’ve been a part of FFA since sixth grade, and am currently the parliamentarian. FFA has given me so many opportunities to experience new things and meet new people. Living on a beef farm has always made me have interests in FFA, with sharing and gaining new knowledge. I plan to go into the medical field after high school.
Hi, my name is Emma Warner and I am currently a senior at Gilman High School. I have been the sentinel of the Gilman FFA for two years now. FFA has been a big part of my life because of me growing up on a farm. I have gotten to experience and learn many things through all of the activities I have done in FFA. I have met many new people through FFA and have gained life-long friendships with my fellow officers. I will always be thankful for all that FFA has provided for me. After graduating from Gilman I am planning on attending the University of Minnesota State Mankato to pursue a degree in sports management/psychology.
My name is Hunter McAlpine, I am currently a junior at Gilman High School I have lived my whole life on a dairy/beef farm and just last spring my family bought out Hogsback Ranch, a whitetail deer breeder farm and hunting preserve, which has been very enjoyable. I’m usually pretty busy throughout the year with the farm, working with my fair animals, hunting, and helping out in the community. I really enjoy being in FFA because of the opportunities and enjoyments that come with being a member. I have made several lifelong friendships from being in FFA all because of being around people that share the same interests and goals in life. Next year I hope to be elected and help bring younger kids into FFA because I believe it is very important to learn to be outgoing and I believe it is very good to learn about all the opportunities you can have in FFA.
