Veterans Chamber of Commerce sets sessions for Veterans Business Conference
The Wisconsin Veterans Chamber of Commerce today announced the three tracks of breakout sessions for the annual Wisconsin Veterans Business Conference. The Wisconsin Veterans Business Conference brings together veteran entrepreneurs, business owners, and resource partners to engage in dialogue about issues pertinent to Wisconsin's veteran business community.
The three tracks of breakout sessions include:
• Veteran Small Business Academy: In partnership with more than a dozen partner organizations and presenters, the Veteran Small Business Academy breakout sessions will provide vital information for new and existing veteran business owners. Panel discussions will include resource partners for veteran entrepreneurs and business owners, presentations covering finance and capital access, small business legal issues, and digital marketing strategies. This breakout session track is sponsored by Old National Bank.
• Veteran Supplier & Contractor Academy: The Veteran Supplier & Contractor Academy will provide veteran business owners the information they need to participate in commercial and government contracting and supplier programs. These sessions bring together public and private sector experts and provide veteran business owners with critical information on certification programs and growing their businesses through supplier and contractor programs. Sessions will focus on the effects and response to inflation and raising interest rates, government contracting opportunities for veteran business owners, contracting and procurement legal issues, and cyber security.
• Veterans Master Class Presentations: Veteran entrepreneurs and business owners will share their expertise, experience, and perspectives on leadership and development, talent attraction and retention, technology's role in business growth, and more. This breakout session track is sponsored by Fiserv.
