Flower power

From l-r, Mallory Jakobi, Lizzie Lindner, and Annika Schley enjoy putting together flower arrangements. These three Loyal High School students, along with Eva Stieglitz, are on the FFA floriculture team and will compete at the regional Career Development Events at Mid-State Technical College in Wisconsin Rapids March 18. Their event includes taking plant identification and plant knowledge tests, and creating a pocket-style boutonnière and flower arrangement (linear design). These and other student groups got to show off their handiwork at the annual CTE and Fine Arts Night, held at Loyal High last Thursday. For more photos, see pages 19 and 20.
