Granton school closed due to water line break

The Granton Area School District and Childcare Center were closed Tuesday as village employees worked to repair a main water line break by the school.

The school and childcare center were also closed Monday. The school had already been scheduled to be closed to allow staff and students time to attend former teacher Cheryl Steinbach’s funeral if they chose. The childcare center was closed because of the water line break.

The Abbotsford School District was also closed Monday due to a water main break.
