Neillsville 4-year-old shot by another juvenile
A 4-year-old Neillsville girl was taken to the hospital for non-life-threatening injuries after being shot by a juvenile relative, the Neillsville Police Department reported in a press release last Wednesday.
On Wednesday, Sept. 25, at approximately 8:56 a.m., the Neillsville Police Department responded to a report of a juvenile being shot at a residence in the 500 block of West Seventh Street. Upon arrival, police found a 4-yearold girl from Neillsville who had suffered a gunshot wound. The girl was taken to the local hospital to receive treatment for non-life-threatening injuries.
The preliminary investigation indicated that a juvenile relative shot the 4-year-old with a handgun. Neillsville police officers are continuing to investigate this incident.
