Alderman Greg Knight didn’t think closing the city pool should even be considered as an option by the newly formed long term pool committee. The city council created the three-person committee comprised of aldermen Mike Bub, Tom Gebert, and Peggy Kraschnewski at the Tuesday night city council meeting. The goal of the committee is to seek public input, research what other communities have for pool facilities and prepare a report for the council to develop a long term plan for the city pool.
