The Rib Lake Village Board heard concerns at its March 14 meeting from a resident about reoccuring flooding problems with her basement. Tammy Downing, who lives on Pine St., told the board that she has had issues with her basement filling with water caused by a backed-up drain due to problems at the sewage treatment plant. Downing said her basement had filled with water on Tuesday night (March 13) and she called public works director Kevin Radtke who went down to the plant, discovered a pipe was plugged up, corrected the problem and the water then drained out of her basement.
