_ July 6 - An officer was dispatched to an Abbotsford residence in reference to a domestic disturbance. The officer met with a woman reporting a confrontation with the father of her two children. She said he slapped her at the start of the argument and also punched her in the head a couple of times.

The complainant said her ex was upset that she was letting his cousins stay at her place after they were released from the jail. She said they were also arguing about child custody issues when he took off with their twoyear- old son. As he was driving away, the complainant said she grabbed onto the arm rest and pulled herself in through the passenger side. She said that is when he punched her a couple of times in the head and face.

The officer also spoke to the ex, who said he had come over because he needed some glue from the complainant’s garage. He also said he wanted to spend some time with his son, but the complainant would not let him do that unless it was at her place.
