Ted C. Erickson

Ted C. Erickson, 83, Pike Lake, passed away, Saturday, Jan. 25, 2025, at his home.

Ted was born Sept. 11, 1941, to Ted and Marie (Bohman) Erickson, in Chippewa Falls.

He grew up in the Pike Lake area and attended Pike Lake School, and graduated from Cadott High School.

Ted married Joann Naiberg, in September 1960; they had three sons, before divorcing. Ted was united in marriage to Bev Moore, Aug. 5, 1976, and had a daughter.

Following graduation, Ted was employed at Jim Falls Dairy. He later took over the family farm. While farming, Ted drove school bus for the Cadott School District. Ted then worked and retired from Jeldwen Windows, following retirement, he enjoyed driving truck for Cloverleaf Farm Supply.

Ted enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, family gatherings, watching the Brewers, Packers and drinking a cold Leinenkugel’s.

He is survived by his wife – Bev Erickson, Cornell; children – Roger (Lora) Erickson, Altoona, Allen (Susan) Erickson, Deerfield, Randy (Melinda) Erickson, Chetek, and Cherri (Wade) Irwin, Cadott; grandchildren — Arik (Ashley), Zachary, Sean (Madie), Adam (Ana Batista) Erickson and Brice (Nikki Steinmetz) and Bradley (Abby Eiler), Blake (Aubree Foldy) Irwin; great-grandchildren – Hudson, Natalie and Denver; brothers and sisters-in-law – Clete (Cathie) Moore, Wayne (Sheila) Moore, Al (Joy) Moore, Jane Moore (Ben Smith) and Bill (Diane) Moore; and several other relatives.

He was preceded in death by his parents – Ted and Marie Erickson; grandson – Alex Erickson; and father and mother-in-law – Bob and Addie Moore.

Services will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, Feb. 8, at Leiser Funeral Home in Cadott, with Pastor Vern Weeks officiating. Interment will follow the services at the Brooklawn Cemetery in Cadott.

Visitation will be held from 9 a.m., until the time of services, Saturday morning, at the funeral home.
