Darsie Mae Hartzell
Darsie Mae Hartzell, 49, died Wednesday, Jan. 1, 2025.
Darsie was born Dec. 21, 1975, to Lisa and Ronald Campbell, in Port Charlotte, Fla.
She attended Lemon Bay High School.
Darsie loved the color guard and served in the Air Force after school.
She met the love of her life in Kuwait, and they were married in 2003. The two settled in Holcombe, until the Lord called them to Hong Kong. From 2007-14, they worked with untold numbers of volunteers at Autumn Rain, to help people hear the good news and receive a Bible, raising their three kids along the way.
Darsie was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2013, and in 2018, Stage 4. She courageously fought and continued life as normal as she could make it for her family, until her passing.
Darsie is preceded in death by her grandparents Lee and Arlene Lamb.
She is survived by her husband – Jeremy; children – Jenessa (19), Zoe (16) and Kenny (13); mother Lisa (Paul) Labelle; sisters – Dawn (John) Primeau, Deanne (Kevin) Abell and Darlene (Eric) Nelson; brothers – Donald (Amy) Campbell and Louis (Kala) Labelle; father and mother-in-law – Ken and Sue Hartzell; sisters-in-law – Carrie (Dan) Priem and Sherri McKenna; and many nieces; nephews; cousins; aunts and uncles.
Services for Darsie will be held Wednesday, Jan. 8, at 11 a.m., at Keystone New Life Church in Cornell. Visitation is beforehand, at 9:30 a.m., and will go until the start of the service.
