Marvin “Marv” “Junior” K. Luedtke, 90, Cadott, passed away Saturday, Nov. 23, 2024, peacefully, at home, with family at his side.

Marv was born Jan. 21, 1934, the son of Marvin A. and Mildred (Aude) Luedtke.

He was married to Nancy (Mickelson) Luedtke, Nov. 7, 1959.

Junior worked for the Chippewa County Highway Department for 40 years, and also at Dugal’s Gas Station. He served proudly in the U.S. Navy, for four years.

Marvin was an avid bear and raccoon hunter, and loved his garden and lawn. Nancy did home daycare and Junior enjoyed those children. He was also an avid book reader, he loved God and enjoyed life.

He is survived by his wife of 66 years – Nancy Luedtke; children – Randy and Tammy (Larry); grandchildren – Brody and Tegen (Brandon); great-grandchildren – Wyatt, Willow, Sterling and Adeline; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; both sisters Katheryn and Genevie; and multiple in-laws.

Services will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, Dec. 7, at Zion Lutheran Church in Fall Creek, with the Rev. James Norton officiating. Visitation will be held from 9:30 a.m., until the time of services, Saturday, at the church, with lunch to follow at the church.

Inurnment with military honors will be held at 1:30 p.m., Saturday, at the Brooklawn Cemetery in Cadott.
