David A. Tripp

David A. Tripp, 79, Cornell, passed away peacefully Thursday, Oct. 31, 2024, at Cornell Health Services.

David was born Feb. 18, 1945, to Solomon and Zillah (Prouty) Tripp, in Eau Claire.

He worked as a farm hand for the Phelps family, for many years.

David enjoyed hunting, fishing, sitting outside enjoying the outdoors and nature, and being with family and friends.

He is survived by his cousins – Sue Dahlstrom, Donna Decorah, Carol Tripp and Linda Olinske (Don St. Aubin); and close family friends – Ted and Bev Erickson.

He was preceded in death by his parents – Solomon and Zillah Tripp; cousins – Shirley Solberg, Bonnie Tripp, Gordy Hamann and Billy Tripp.

Services will be held at 11 a.m., Tuesday, Nov. 12, at Leiser Funeral Home in Cadott, with the Rev. George Olinske officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the services, Tuesday morning, at the funeral home.

Inurnment will be in the Ludington Annex Cemetery, in Eau Claire County.
