Jessica Marie Ryba
Jessica Marie Ryba, 41, passed away Thursday, Sept. 12, 2024, at the House of The Dove in Marshfield, surrounded by her family, after courageously battling cancer for the past six years. Her beautiful smile, sparkling blue eyes and sassiness will be forever missed.
Jessica attended Cadott Schools and graduated in 2001, from Cadott High School. After graduation, she was employed at Enbridge Inc., Precision Pipeline and the Wisconsin Farmers Union.
She founded the Cadott Farmers Market in 2022, recruiting many vendors, with hundreds of customers attending. Jessica was very passionate about having this available to the community and she dedicated many hours, in making it successful for many small family farmers, producers and artisans.
“I truly wanted to make a positive difference for people,” she said. “I have learned so much since starting the market and met so many wonderful, amazing vendors, shoppers and volunteers. Thank you to every single person, who has helped make the Cadott Farmers Market succeed and continue to grow.”
Jessica was a mother, daughter, granddaughter, sister, aunt, cousin, niece and friend. She was a loving, nurturing and supportive mother, whose children meant the world to her.
She loved spending time with her son and daughter, family and friends. Being at home playing games and helping her children learn/do something new, watching TV/movies, reading a book, taking pictures, trying out new recipes, giggling, and talking about everything and nothing, are a few things she enjoyed doing.
Jessica’s whole world was her children. “My greatest adventures/chapters in my life and always will be, is being a mommy. My amazing children are my greatest treasure and blessing that I have. They have brought so much joy and love to my life.
“Each and every day, is filled with new things, kisses, giggles and snuggles. I love watching them grow and learn, it is the most incredible thing ever! They are constantly teaching me new things…it’s amazing the things you see and different viewpoints you discover, when you start slowing down and enjoying life!”
