Robert Michael Johnston

Robert Michael Johnston, born Sept. 5, 1937, the first child of Clelland and Agnes Johnston, graduate of Cornell High School Class of 1955, sailor in the U.S. Navy for two years, husband of Lucia Moede, father of Kim Miller and Brad Johnston, citizen of Wisconsin, for 87 years, passed away Friday, Aug. 9, 2024 of aml leukemia.

He was a Catholic, a jockey, a locker plant errand boy, a boiler king sailor on the USS Domato, a husband, a father, a brother, an uncle, a guardian, a grandpa, a maintenance supervisor for Pewaukee School System, a snowbird, a Birkebeiner, a camper, a cliff dweller at Flater’s, a no-count golfer, a hiker, a biker, a four-wheeler and all-weather friend.

Rest in peace.

His remains will be donated to a three-year study.
