With heavy hearts, we share that Arthur D, Danielson passed away, at the age of 83, Friday, Aug. 16, 2024, in Marshfield, because of complications of pneumonia.

Arthur was the youngest child, and only son, of Arthur and Lila (Arneson) Danielson, born May 6, 1941, in Cadott.

He graduated from Cadott High School in 1959, and carried the values of his upbringing

throughout his life, influencing those around him by his example.

Known for his relentless work ethic as a farmer, Goetz Township road grader and an REA meter reader, all while providing a loving home, with Colleen, for more than 100 foster children over the years. Arthur wholeheartedly lived a life marked by dedication, until his health no longer allowed him to do so.

Arthur was an extremely proud grandfather to Colton, Lauren, Regan and Talyn. They were truly his heartbeat.

He is survived by his loving wife of 63 years – Colleen (McMahon) Danielson; his children – Susan Danielson, Mark Danielson (Tracy Girard) and Tami (Danielson) Allison (Martin Allison); his granddaughters – Lauren, Regan and Talyn; his sisters – Ilene Zien, Sharree Burns and Mary Jo Connors; along with several in-laws; nephews; nieces and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his grandson – Colton Thomas Park; son – Adam Danielson; daughter – Leaha Danielson; his parents – Arthur and Lila (Arneson) Danielson; and sister – Crystal (Danielson) Stipek.

A memorial service will be held at noon, Tuesday, Aug. 27, at Big Drywood Lutheran Church in Cadott. Visitation will be held from 10 a.m., until the time of service, at noon, Tuesday, at the church.

Inurnment will be in the Big Drywood Church Cemetery, with a repast/luncheon to follow.

Arthur’s life will be honored and remembered by family, friends and all who knew him.
