Sheila Jane (Fisk) LaRose


Sheila Jane (Fisk) LaRose, 63, Cadott, departed from this earthly home, with family by her side, to be with her Heavenly Lord, Friday, May 3, 2024.
Sheila was born Dec. 14, 1960, in Chippewa Falls, the daughter of her late parents, Dale and Margaret (Witt) Fisk.
She grew up on the family farm north of Boyd, and in the Town of Boyd.
Sheila graduated from Stanley-Boyd High School in 1979.
She married Randy LaRose, July 25, 1981, at St John’s Lutheran Church in Cadott. Then, in 1983, Sheila and Randy moved to Florida. They returned to Wisconsin, in 1994, with two boys and a truck load of stuff.
Sheila made her Drywood home in Cadott, complete. She devoted her life to God, husband, three boys and four grandsons. While the boys attended elementary school, Sheila volunteered for the Cadott School District. When the boys got older, she a worked at Pick ’n Save in Chippewa Falls.
Sheila enjoyed camping trips around the United States, reading, watching high school football, high school wrestling, Badgers sports and the Packers.
Though Sheila battled MS for over 26 years, she never complained or asked, “Why me?” Her faith kept her strong.
Sheila lived life right down the middle, never too discouraged by bad times and never too carried away by good times.
She is survived by her loving husband – Randy; three sons – Jason (Kim), Rice Lake, Eric (Elizabeth), Suprise, Ariz., and Mark (Ruthy Hladilek), Cadott; four grandsons – Isaac, Phillip, Brantley and Levi; sister – Karen (Dick) Stewart; half brother – Earl (Laura) Fisk, Holcombe; stepbrother – Lon (Dennise) Fisk, Eagle River; motherin- law – Lillian LaRose; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father and mother – Dale and Margaret (Witt) Fisk; sister – Sylvia (Fisk)
Jones; brother-in-law – Alen Jones; stepmother – Della Fisk; stepsister – Carol Wood; and father-in-law – Herbert LaRose.
Visitation will be held from 4-7 p.m., with a 7 p.m. memorial service, Friday, May 17, with Pastor Greg Sima officiating, at Leiser Funeral Home in Cadott.
The family would like to thank the St. Joseph’s Home Health and Hospice teams, for the love and care they provided Sheila, and the Heartland Hospice team for the love and care they provided Sheila, after St. Joseph’s closed.
