Robert “Bob” P. Breuer

Robert “Bob” P. Breuer, 82, Holcombe, passed away Tuesday, Dec. 5, 2023, at Mayo, in Eau Claire.

Bob was born Dec. 27, 1940, to Benjamin and Agnes (Copet) Breuer, in the Town of Unity.

He was raised and received his education in Unity.

Robert married Bonnie Kayhart, May 11, 1968, in Abbotsford.

He worked at Marshfield Homes, was an avid gunsmith for many years, and farmed his entire life. Bob and Bonnie moved to Holcombe, in 1988, where he continued farming.

Robert enjoyed hunting, gunsmithing, collecting maple sap, with the draft horses and farming.

He is survived by his wife – Bonnie (Kayhart) Breuer; a son at home – Mike; daughter – Lore (Jim) Nowobielski, Thorp; granddaughters – Ashley, Erika and Isabelle; one great-grandson – Oliver, who was born on his birthday, as well; six stepgrandchildren, along with their spouses; and many great-stepgrandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and brother – Victor.

A memorial visitation will be held from 3-6 p.m., Wednesday, Dec. 27, at Borton-Leiser Funeral Home in Cornell. Burial will be at the Town of Brighton Cemetery in Unity, at a later date.
