Clifford “Cliff” L. Ramseier
Clifford “Cliff” L. Ramseier, 72, of Chippewa Falls, died peacefully Monday, Oct. 30, 2023, at Mayo Clinic Health System in Eau Claire.
Cliff was born June 24, 1951, to Rallen and Marcella (Jerabek) Ramseier, in Stanley.
He attended Cadott Schools and took great pride in being an undefeated State champion wrestler in 1969.
Cliff married Louise Metzenbauer, March 18, 1972, at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Cadott, and they divorced in 2016.
After building silos for many years, he obtained a degree in social work from UW-Eau Claire, and dedicated his time and talents, to serving youth and adults, with Triniteam TAP and Eau Claire County Human Services.
Cliff enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time with his border collie, Spike. Most of all, he cherished making memories, with his children and grandchildren.
He is survived by his daughters – Amy (Tony Keys) Bauer, Marcie (Jerry) Lindbom and Christy (Bryce) Reinhardt; grandchildren – Sebastian, Ella, Jackson, Grace, Daniel, Cora and Kennedy; siblings – Ralph (Laura) Ramseier, David (Lorene) Ramseier, Geraldine LaGesse and Sandra Nelson; special cousin – Denny; and his extended family – Steve (Tammy) Ramseier, Roxi VanDen-Heuvel, Pam (Jim) Endvick and Clarice Ramseier.
He was preceded in death by his parents; niece – Michele Stone; grandson – Greyson Jensen; foster dad – Lloyd Ramseier; and his coach/friend – A. Pat Mrotek.
Services were at 11 a.m., Tuesday, Nov. 7, at Central Lutheran Church in Chippewa Falls, with a visitation two hours prior to the service, at the church. The Rev. Aaron Sturgis officiatied.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Feed My People or Central Lutheran Church.
