Colton Thomas Park
Early Saturday morning, Saturday, Oct. 21, 2023, Colton Thomas Park, 29, passed away unexpectedly, at his home in Chippewa Falls.
A son, a brother, a grandson and a friend of many, Colton left this tortured world and his pain behind, to join his Heavenly family, friends and his beloved pet, Kitty.
Colton is the son of Michael P. Park and Tami M. (Danielson) Allison.
He stubbornly came into this world in Chippewa Falls, July 8, 1994, at 8:06 p.m., on his terms, just as he did leaving.
Being the first grandchild to both sides, Arthur Jr. and Colleen Danielson, Daniel and Mari Park, he was already cherished, adored and admired, before entering this world.
Colton loved wholeheartedly and, unfortunately, hurt with that same intensity the past few years.
He loved the outdoors. Just like his father, you’d often find him hiking, digging in dirt, biking or fishing – just to name a few. Colton had a great sense of humor – always being silly, making us all smile and laugh, regardless of his internal struggles. He brought joy to all around him, always.
Colton was immensely proud of his younger brother, Noah, and younger sisters, Lauren and Regan. He gushed about them to anyone who’d listen. He loved his grandparents to no end and knew it was reciprocated on a grander scale. He knew they loved him and would do anything, at any time, for him.
He had a special gift, like both his mother and father, to find himself in less-than ideal situations. The stories are endless, just as are the laughs. There hasn’t ever been a dull moment with Colton.
Colton was fortunate to have had several great influences in his life, since his early years. His stepfather, Martin “Marty” W. Allison, loved him as his own. Marty’s parents, Clyde and Janet Allison, welcomed him with open arms, as did their entire family.
He is loved and missed beyond measure, and always will be. Please cherish all the memories – the good, the bad, the in-between.
Rest easy, sweet boy. Until we meet again… please know we love you. We tried Pookie Bear, we all tried...
He is survived by his parents – Michael P. Park and Tami M. Allison; siblings – Lauren L. Allison, Regan R. Allison and Noah Ward Park; grandparents – Arthur D. Jr. and Colleen R. Danielson, and Daniel and Mari Park; aunts and uncles – Heidi Park, Steve and Melody Park, Mark Danielson and Susan Danielson; and immediate cousins – Jenna Park and Talyn McFarlane.
He was preceded in death by his uncle – Adam Danielson; aunt – Leaha Danielson; great-grandparents – Ralph and Edith Park, Lynn and Dorothy Sloan, Victor and Hazel McMahon, and Arthur Sr. and Lila Danielson.
Services will be held at 1 p.m., Friday, Nov. 3, at Big Drywood Lutheran Church in Cadott, with Pastor Lucy Schottelkorb officiating. Visitation will be held from 10 a.m., until the time of service, at 1 p.m., Friday, at the church.

If we’ve missed someone or something, please understand; we are doing the best we can, during the most tragic time of a parent’s life.
