Bonnie J. Tripp, 74, Cadott, passed away unexpectedly Sunday, Sept. 11, 2022, as a result of an automobile accident.

Bonnie was born June 9, 1948, the daughter of Wayne and Elizabeth (Hamann) Tripp, in Chippewa Falls.

She attended and graduated from Bloomer High School. Following high school, Bonnie farmed in Holcombe, and was a waitress at the En-Joy restaurant in Cornell, and she later worked for many years, as a homecare provider in the surrounding area.

Bonnie enjoyed GemArt, playing cards, embroidery, plastic canvas stitching, gardening and baking.

She is survived by her sisters – Carol Tripp, Cadott, Linda Olinske (Don St. Aubin), Cadott, Donna Decorah, Marshfield, and Susan Dahlstrom, Conrath; nieces and nephews – Donnie (Maria) Olinske, Cadott, Dennis (Kristy) Olinske, Cadott, Michelle Gallmeier (Brad), Dent, Minn., Robert (Angie) Olinske, Augusta, Laura (Rodney) Lewallen, Cadott, Lisa (Rich) Korn, Chippewa Falls, Angie Gudmanson, Chippewa Falls, Sarah (Grant) Herr, North Carolina, Betty Tripp, Conrath, Michael, Shawn, Greg and Cory Gudmanson, Linda Calkins, Gilman, Carl Frank, Marshfield, and Donny Frank, Marshfield; several great-nieces; greatnephews; and a cousin – David Tripp, Cornell.

She was preceded in death by her parents – Wayne and Elizabeth Tripp; sister – Shirley Solberg; brothers – Gordon Hamann, William Tripp and Jimmy Tripp; niece – Renia Smith; nephews – Randy Smith and Ricky Smith; greatniece – Natasha Boettcher; and a great-nephew – Johny Boettcher.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 29, at the Cadott United Methodist Church, with the Rev. George Olinske officiating. Inurnment will be at the Big Drywood Cemetery in the Town of Goetz.

A memorial visitation will be held from 1 p.m., until the time of service at 2 p.m., at the church.

Leiser Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Cadott, is assisting the family.
