Deborah “Deb” C. Martin

Deborah “Deb” C. Martin, 62, Chippewa Falls, Town of Anson, died suddenly May 31, 2022, in Chippewa Falls.

Deb was born March 12, 1960, in Chippewa Falls, to Raymond and Lorraine (Rothbauer)

Spaeth. She married Kenneth Martin July 6, 1976, in Chippewa Falls.

For many years, she worked at Cray Research, then SGI and finally, TTM Technologies.

Deb left the workforce, because of health issues. She was a very hard worker and always wished she could go back to work.

She enjoyed working in her yard planting flowers, going on walks, spending time at the family cabin, fishing, going to thrift sales, collecting antiques and finding a bargain at the local thrift stores.

Deb was a very loving and giving person. Family and friends were a bright highlight of her life. She took great care of her husband and parents until their deaths. If you ever needed anything, she would always make sure to find a way to make that happen.

She is survived by her daughter – Amy (Randy Burnett) Martin, Hixton; sisters – Karen (Hunt) Russell, Prior Lake, Minn.; Renee Spaeth, Eau Claire, and Kathleen (Mark) Stevens, Rock Falls; brothers – James (Collene) Spaeth, Chippewa Falls, Kenneth (Teresa Connolly) Spaeth, Hudson, Robert and Daniel Spaeth, Cadott; close friend – Dean Pettis, Chippewa Falls; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband – Kenneth; parents – Raymond and Lorraine Spaeth; sister – Mary Ann Turner; and brother-in-law – Cliffton Turner.

Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m., Friday, June 10, at Hope Cemetery in Chippewa Falls, with Deacon Ned Willkom officiating. A celebration of life will follow at the Irvine Park Activity Building (next to the main pavilion).
